Who We Are
Capacitybuilders is a non-departmental public body (NDPB), operating at arms length from Government.
We are accountable to and receive funding from our sponsor department, the Office of the Third Sector at the Cabinet Office.
Investing in Change
Capacitybuilders invests in change in the third sector to increase the effectiveness and reach of the services that support the charities, voluntary and community groups, and social enterprises working at the frontline for the benefit of individuals and communities.
Our Vision
Capacitybuilders’ aim is to help create a more effective third sector.
We want all third sector organisations to be able to access high quality support that meets their needs when they need it.
By improving support, Capacitybuilders will strengthen the sector, increasing its ability to create a better quality of life for individuals and communities.
