Demonstrating to key stakeholders the benefits of support services to frontline organisations

Providing evidence

Capacitybuilders will gather evidence that demonstrates to government, other public sector bodies and non-statutory funders that investment in support services is money well spent and an effective way to strengthen the third sector.

Learning from experience

We will identify 'what works' at all levels. Support networks, national support services and a range of umbrella organisations will be encouraged to set up systems to spread information about projects and practice.

Evidence base

Our evidence will be based on a number of sources including in-house statstical and qualitative data, external sources such as the Charity Commission and the State of the Third Sector Panel and research and rigorous evaluations.
