Developing and influencing funding practice to sustain support for third sector organisations
Influential role
Capacitybuilders will develop and share knowledge of other potential funding sources in all three sectors and influence the policy and practice of other funders with the aim of building sustainability of support services.
Working together
We plan to work alongside other organisations, such as the Local Government Association and IDeA, as well as charitable foundations and the private sector, and will ensure that our grant programmes will be strategically used to lever in other funds wherever possible.
Acknowledging the importance of social enterprise
Given the growing importance of the social enterprise movement, we will also work with social enterprise umbrella bodies and regional social enterprise networks to identify funding opportunities to help build the business support needed by many social enterprises.
