Priorities 2011/2014
Inevitably, without being able to predict precise activity or the related outcomes in the period 2011/14 and beyond, proposed work for this period is somewhat aspirational.
Demonstrating our vision
Despite the aspirational nature of the last period of our delivery plan, by monitoring progress and through our evaluation programme, we will be able to demonstrate that our vision has been acheived.
Strengthening sector support services
We will build on partnerships with other public funders, the private sector and charitable foundations and will continue to ensure a more co-ordinated approach to strengthening support services for the third sector.
Key activity will include:
- working with others to ensure that further long term aims and objectives are set for support service development up to 2014
- working with other public and private funders to ensure that strengthening the third sector through efficient and effective support services remains a high priority
- publishing a comprehensive evaluation report on the whole ChangeUp programme and associated capacity building initiatives in July 2013
- publishing a final report in January 2014 which outlines the range of issues still to be addressed and indentifies new themes that have an impact on society and in which the third sector can play a vital role.
