Regional Networks Fund
Supporting sector influence at a regional level
In April 2009, Capacitybuilders launched a new two year fund to support sector influence at a regional level, and to provide a transition from the Office of the Third Sector programme which came to an end in March 2009.
Regional representation
The Third Sector Regional Networks play an important role in ensuring the views, experience and perspectives of the third sector are represented in regional level policy, decision-making and implementation.
Our investment
Capacitybuilders is investing in improvement and sustainability of the Regional Third Sector Networks and Regional BME Networks across the country.
Outcomes focused
The Regional Network Fund has two programme outcomes:
- Outcome 1: By 2011, regional third sector networks are better able to demonstrate influence over regional and national policy affecting the third sector.
- Outcome 2: By 2011, regional third sector networks are able to demonstrate improvements in their leadership, income diversity, and efficiency.
