Capacitybuilders’ Stakeholder Survey
Over the last twelve months we have been working hard to improve our performance, and we are delighted to report that feedback from our stakeholder survey, carried out in January and February this year, was overwhelmingly positive on all key performance areas:
• our performance in most areas of programme management being rated by 85-90% of you as "good"
• 57% of you reported having seen an improvement in Capacitybuilders’ performance over the last 12 months.
Independently Managed
The independently managed survey sought views from national, regional and local stakeholders, Capacitybuilders’ grant holders and other key stakeholders on areas such as our operational performance, management of funding programmes, quality of communications and where we could improve services. 50 interviews were carried out by telephone and an additional 244 stakeholders completed an online questionnaire.
Capacitybuilders’ performance rated well in comparison to other funders
We also asked you to compare our performance to other funders, and you told us that Capacitybuilders scores well for ease of application processes, speed of decisions, levels of monitoring and reporting and lack of bureaucracy.
Ongoing commitment to high levels of customer service
Over the next twelve months, we want to maintain and further improve our performance. We'll be looking at the detailed messages from the stakeholder survey and making sure that we take on board your views in our business planning for 2010-11.
Sharing of best practice and ideas
One area we'll be focusing on in particular is our commitment to sharing of ideas and best practice amongst grant holders and the wider support provider community, which was scored well, but not as highly, as other areas of our performance. Key priorities will be to further developing the value of www.improvingsupport.org.uk as a resource for sharing best practice, and investing further in forward looking research and best practice.
