A survey of support organisations
The report presents findings from the first of a series of surveys of local third sector support providers which offers an insight into the impact of recent changes in the economy on the sector.
By conducting surveys at regular intervals we will be able to track changes across the sector, identify areas of resilience, as well as areas where there is greatest vulnerability.
Key findings from first survey:
- demand for support services has increased significantly over the last 12 months
- the majority of support providers are coping well with the increase in demand
- nearly half of all survey respondents expect that overall income will drop in the next 3 years
- many support providers are actively considering and taking steps to prepare for this drop in income, particularly exploring collaboration with other providers.
Second survey
The second survey has now taken place, with results available here.
